چکیده

We study the electron-loss-to-continuum (ELC) cusp experimentally and theoretically by comparing ionization of U$^{89+}$ projectiles in collisions with N$_2$ Xe targets, at a beam energy 75.91 MeV/u. The coincidence measurement between singly ionized projectile emitted electron is used to compare shape ELC weak strong perturbations. A significant shift for centroid observed heavy target as compared light N$_2$. Our results provide stringent test fully relativistic calculations double-differential cross sections performed first-order approximation continuum-distorted-wave approach.

a comparison of teachers and supervisors, with respect to teacher efficacy and reflection

supervisors play an undeniable role in training teachers, before starting their professional experience by preparing them, at the initial years of their teaching by checking their work within the proper framework, and later on during their teaching by assessing their progress. but surprisingly, exploring their attributes, professional demands, and qualifications has remained a neglected theme i...

Electron Capture to Continuum (ECC) in Near-Relativistic Collisions

In near relativistic collisions of heavy ions and atoms there is a transition region where radiative (RECC) and non radiative (ECC) transfer processes to the projectile appear with comparable cross sections. This is a particularly interesting case for studying the dynamics of these processes as in both cases initial and final states are the same and the only difference is the additional radiati...

Radiative electron capture to continuum in relativistic ion–atom collisions

The capture of a target electron to the projectile continuum with simultaneous photon emission, known as radiative ionization (RI), is investigated theoretically for fast, highly charged projectiles colliding with light target atoms. Based on the impulse approximation in its post form, the features of radiative ionization are studied and contrasted with the related processes of radiative electr...
